Wayno’s Marathon Skate Around London: Born in an Instant
One unforgettable day at the wave in Bristol, we were surfing when Oli said he couldn’t do a marathon skate around London. Without hesitation, Wayno bet £100 that he could do it by the end of the month.
After a few focused training sessions around Stevenage, one Saturday morning Wayno decided: today is the day. The skate was tough but incredibly rewarding and filled with joy.
Thanks to the amazing support from the community, we raised around £400 for the Driift Foundation, contributing towards our next cause.
Wayno’s marathon skate showed that with determination, a bit of friendly challenge, and community spirit, anything is possible.
